The Pure Tone Razor is a rail design pickup with side by side coils, an alnico magnet and solid cover.

This pickup is not overwound giving the pickup a stronger low-mid range, but still retaining the traditional highs that single coils produce.

The Razor is fully sheilded - we recommend sting earthing this pickup to eliminate any chance of noise.

These pickups are setup in the humbucking configuration but can be easily set up for coil splitting.

Humbucking: We have pre-soldered the wires in the humbucking configuration - all you need to do is attach the remaining wires.

Coil Splitting: Just cut our pre-soldered join and you have split the coils. - You can now switch and combine coils as long as you have the right switch to do so (we sell these too!).
