We are happy to announce our new range of microphones by Alctron.

Alctron is an emerging microphone manufacturer out of China producing some amazing microphones, if you look through the sound forums there are some great reviews and recommendations of Alctron mics.

We have bought in a starting selection of mics including a ribbon mike, multi pattern tube mic, a pencil condenser and much more. The guys in Pure Tone are in a local band here in Adelaide (including myself) and have used these mics in the studio with some amazing results. We had the wide diaphragm on a thick ride cymbal and the multi pattern tube mic on a classic acoustic guitar – and the sound was brilliant!

We are an open website so please feel free to send through any questions on our new mics, we have had a lot of fun playing with... I mean testing them and will gladly share what we have learnt about them!
