Phosphor Bronze sounds brighter, has a beautiful full tone, and lasts longer than most 'standard' acoustic guitar strings. Phospor bronze also doesn't break down after one or two sweaty gigs like coated strings tend to do.

The medium gauge is the most popular gauge; it gives a great even tone, can be used for lead and rythm styles and the string tension is just perfect.
